NOSTRA PHILOSOPHIA:
Christian Philosophy Reading Group

On Saturday afternoons we meet to discuss Christian and non-Christian philosophical texts that help us to think our Christian Faith and life.

During May 2024 we will meet at 2 p.m. at Harbord House, 124 Harbord Street, following the May Festival Masses.

Beginning June 1, 2024, we will meet at 1 p.m. at Imperial Pub, 54 Dundas Street East, Library (upper level).

Beginning June 8, 2024, we will again meet at Harbord House, 124 Harbord Street. The meeting will commence at at 1 p.m.

We will begin with Eric Perl’s Theophany: The Neoplatonic Philosophy of Dionysius the Areopagite, which situates the thought of this fifth-century Christian within his philosophical context of late pagan and early Christian Neoplatonisms.

All are welcome to join us in this new initiative.

If you plan to join us, it would help us plan table reservations if you could contact either Fr Hannam or Quinn Kiervin-Starkey (quinn.kiervin@gmail.com).
