Dear Members of the S. Bart’s Community,
Last year’s Mothering Sunday Tea was a great success, and we hope to carry on the tradition again this year on Sunday, 10 March 10, 2024 (Lent IV)!
Everyone is welcome! Invitations will be available at the back of the church — please take as many as you require.
This year we are putting our collective culinary talents on full display, and are asking that congregants sign up to help with food preparation, set-up, and clean-up. We are also requesting loans or donations of teapots.
Sign up to help by messaging Thomas McCallum at sixmilebrookmusic@gmail.com. Food can be dropped off in the kitchen before the 11am service on March 10th. Please remember we are a nut-free church.
Suggested food items: Tea sandwiches – Cucumber, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Salmon, Ham, Egg Salad, Cherry/Cream cheese; Scones, Rolls, Biscuits, Cheese plate, Shrimp ring, Fruit/Veggie Tray, Deviled Eggs, Gherkins/pickled fare, Hummus, other dips; Squares, Cookies, Brownies, Cakes.
