Young Adults

The Young Adults of St Bart’s are seeking ways to build an attentive, prayerful, and contemplative community in the midst of the fast-paced society in which we live. We believe that the best way to do this is to think holistically about how we engage with each other through a wide range of activities. We worship together (through the liturgy of the church), learn together (through reading groups and quiet days), and serve the community together (through ministries like our prayer walks and Christmas outreaches). We also enjoy hikes, shared meals and pub nights.

If you are interested in connecting with St Bart’s through any of these events or activities, or if you have any questions about what we do, you can contact Anne White or Sebastian Moreno at youngadults@stbartstoronto.ca.

Quotes

On the Quiet Day:
“The talks were amazing, and the time spent in Eucharistic adoration. I went into the day feeling quite tired and came out feeling very refreshed.”

On the Autumn Hike:
“I greatly enjoyed the hike: I am not a parishioner, but a friend of the parish, since my home church is St Thomas’s. I appreciated the simple structure, leaving time for fellowship, but with time set aside for worship at the centre”
“The food was amazing and I really enjoyed singing Sext at lunch.”
“I loved our hike. It was a perfect day. I signed up because I’ve wanted to do it for a while, and this seemed the perfect opportunity. I enjoyed everyone’s company and appreciated the thought that went into organizing the day”
