“Welcome to our website! We are an intentional community of prayer and worship who find our centre in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the frequent and reverent reception of Holy Communion, and the daily recitation of the Church’s Divine Office (Morning and Evening Prayer). Our life of worship is nourished both by adoring contemplation of the Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—revealed in Jesus Christ, the incarnate Word and Wisdom of God, and by an ever-deepening education in the doctrines that shape and inform our worship. Because all true worship must issue in works of mercy—principally the classical spiritual and corporal works of mercy—St Bart’s has always been committed to the nurture and care both of its own members and the members of the wider community, in whom we seek and find the face of Jesus Christ. We believe that faithful worship transforms communities into places of human flourishing, both natural and supernatural, and we would be delighted for you to join us in the great adventure of the journey to our true homeland in God!”
